La cooperazione tra Powerman Zofingen e ITU continua, l’IPA (International Powerman Association) ha infatti annunciato che anche la 24^ edizione della mitica gara svizzera sarà valida come nella passata stagione per l’assegnazione dei titoli iridati ITU Duathlon Long Distance.
Nel 2011 vinsero la neozelandese Melanie Burke e il belga Joerie Vansteelant, entrambi intenzionati a difendere i loro titoli il prossimo 2 settembre a Zofingen.
Ricordiamo che recentemente è stato anche annunciato che il Powerman Holland del 28 e 29 aprile, grazie a un accordo tra IPA ed EPU, sarà valido come ETU Powerman Long Distance and Sprint Duathlon European Championships.
