CRONACA
Ruben Ruzafa non si ferma più: il campione del mondo in carica è al suo settimo successo consecutivo, considerando la vittoria iridata di fine ottobre 2013 e i 6 successi di questa stagione, in Spagna, Portogallo, Svizzera, Francia, Italia e ora Repubblica Ceca, che gli hanno di fatto consegnato anche il primo posto nella graduatoria europea.
Niente da fare per lo statunitense Josiah “Beast Mode” Middaugh, secondo, e per l’australiano Ben Allen, terzo, che relega ai piedi del podio il neozelandese Braden Currie e il beniamino di casa Jan Honza Kubicek.
Tra le donne, la tedesca Kathrin Mueller centra invece il poker, dopo essersi imposti anche in Grecia, Svizzera, Francia; per lei l’European Tour è a un passo. Più di cinque minuti dopo è giunta la britannica Jacqui Slack, mentre terza è arrivata la campionessa ceca Helena Erbenova; quarta e quinta piazza per altre due big del circuito, Carina Wasle e Renata Bucher.
Due azzurri hanno portato a termine la prova, uno dietro l’altro: Georg Gögele (SCMT) e Riccardo Cipriani (A-Team Triathlon).
