CRONACA
Lo svedese Fredrik Croneborg e la statunitense Laurel Wassner non solo si sono aggiudicati la prima edizione del Challenge Atlantic City, assicurandosi i 10.000 dollari del montepremi, ma sono anche i primi beneficiari del “Challenge Bahrain Royal Package” che, grazie all’invito speciale di Sua Altezza Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa permetterà ai due atleti di partecipare come ospiti alla prova del prossimo 6 dicembre. Avranno diritto a ricevere il “Royal Package” anche i vincitori della prova europea della Challenge Family, il Challenge Roth del 20 luglio e della prova dell’Oceania, ovvero il Challenge Gold Coast del 24 agosto. Al Challenge Atlantic City ha partecipato anche Chris McCormack: Macca ha però incassato l’ennesimo ritiro. Al traguardo invece è arrivato l’age group azzurro Giorgio Cavallini, 4° di categoria.
