Sabato 14 maggio, il vicecampione del mondo Ironman Andreas Raelert ha preceduto la coppia di francesi Bertrand Billard e Sylvain Sudrie, e si è imposto nel 1° Ironman 70.3 Mallorca.

In campo femminile, successo per 32″ della britannica Emma Kate Lidbury che precede l’esperta magiara Erika Csomor; podio completato con la tedesca Silvia Felt.

Sono stati 33 gli azzurri finisher, il più veloce è stato Alfio Bulgarelli che si è piazzato al quarto posto nella sua categoria.
