The London race always brings an extra ounce of excitement during the Series and this year it was no exception. Hometown hero Alistair Brownlee wowed the crowd and reclaimed the gold medal in front of his Nation’s people. It also gave him his second title of the year after he had already tallied a victory back in Cape Town.

The women’s race offered up another slice of ITU history when the U.S. swept the podium for a second time in the season as Gwen Jorgensen, Katie Zaferes and Sarah True took home the gold, silver and bronze.

Next year London steps away from the WTS, and gets replaced by the English city of Leeds, so in honour of the beloved city, help us pick the best London photo!
